Alim Mohamed, 34, of Morrow, was arrested Friday in the town of Morrow on charges including rape, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office.
Officials said Muhammad is accused of having sexual contact with another person by force.
The sheriff's office said the investigation led to Mohammed's arrest after receiving a report of an inactive sexual assault at Lamplighter Acres in Morrow at 4:01 p.m.
Police said the suspect is also suspected of knowingly acting in a manner likely to harm the physical, mental or moral welfare of a child under the age of 17.
Muhammad is also suspected of providing the victim with alcohol and marijuana, officials said.
The sheriff's office announced that Mr. Muhammad was charged with:
First Degree Rape First Degree Unlawful Trafficking in a Child Third Degree Criminal Sale of Marijuana Endangering the Welfare of a Child
He was arraigned in Morrow City Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further action in the matter, authorities said.
