WBJ received 51 nominations out of 41 nominees for the 2024 Outstanding Business Women Awards. The unenviable task of selecting this year's recipients from that group fell to these three judges, who uniquely identified each nominee based on professional accomplishments, community involvement, mentoring, and breaking glass ceilings. I scored it.
Kristin Bostek is a senior vice president at Fallon Health, a nonprofit insurance company in Worcester, where she oversees integrated care programs for seniors. She serves on the boards of the MassPACE Association, The Boys & Girls Club of Worcester, and the Reliant Foundation. She is the recipient of the 2021 Outstanding Women in Business award.
Damaris Dominguez is a manager of customer advocacy and managed account services at National Grid, an electric and natural gas utility that helps low-income customers pay their utility bills. She serves as vice chair of the Good Neighbor Energy Foundation of Massachusetts. She is the recipient of the 2023 Outstanding Women in Business award.
Teona Scola is Director of Donor Strategy and Management at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. She serves on two committees for United Way's Women's Initiative in Worcester and helped establish the Leadership Worcester Alumni Scholarship Fund. She is a member of WBJ's 2024 Under 40 Class.
