Since there are so many products to discuss, I will start with my common opinion. Overall, great results, but I have mixed (but overall positive) thoughts about Arete's carts and concentrates.
Before we get into the main topic, there is one thing to note. You won't know what kind of loads you'll be under before you try them yourself, but if you want to see how each one has been tested, check out Arete's lab report. The link is in the header of the site.
Overall, this bud delivered an above average effect in terms of strength. In terms of taste and aroma, Grandaddy Purple was by far my favorite, but more on that later, but it was one of the milder (and more drowsy) high notes. Maui Wowie was in a similar boat, albeit on the high-flying side.
Hindu Kush and Northern Lights #5 were also strains that I smoked before bed. Both were impressive in their height, and the aurora was especially impressive. White Widow produced more head height than I expected, but I'm not going to complain. It was well balanced.
Most of the carts had a light, pleasant high note, but aside from a few early sessions, they weren't the most powerful. To a lesser extent, I went through a similar period with hash rosin. (It's always hard to tell if this is the brand's fault or my own.)
As a side note, Arete also sent me (as always Farm Bill compliant) Delta 9 gummies. Maybe that's not why you came here. I won't go into detail about it, but I was impressed. It was a moderately stimulating high every time.
