Beijing Central Business District was officially elected chairman of the Global Business District Innovation Club on Monday, with the term of chairman running from 2025 to 2027.
Beijing CBD, located in the capital's Chaoyang District, received a symbolic handover gift from Pierre-Yves Guise, marking his formal appointment as its next president. Pierre-Yves Guise is the outgoing president of the GBD Innovation Club and CEO of La. defense.
GBD Innovation Club is the world's most influential non-profit organization dedicated to global business districts, with 14 member institutions in Europe, America, Asia and Africa, including Paris, San Francisco, Tokyo and Casablanca .

Beijing CBD succeeded in securing the presidential position in the elections due to its own advantages. From 2025 to 2027, Beijing CBD will project China's voice on the international stage and contribute China's wisdom and Beijing's experience to the development of global business districts.
A delegation consisting of GBD Innovation Club members also began a three-day “Explore Beijing” visit. They will visit various landmarks of Beijing, such as Beijing CBD and Beijing Central Axis, and experience the city's charm and development prospects.
Beijing CBD is located in the heart of Chaoyang District and covers an area of approximately 7 square kilometers. The CBD functional zone, which occupies five-thousandths of the city's total area, generated approximately 130 billion yuan in tax revenue, accounting for 8.5% of the city's tax revenue in 2023. Within the central district area of 7.04 square kilometers, approximately 9 billion yuan of tax revenue will be generated. The tax revenue per square kilometer was RMB.
