LAHORE, Oct 09 (APP): Chairman Directorate General of Prime Minister Evaluation, Feedback, Inspection and Monitoring (DEFIM) Brigadier Babar Alauddin (retd) visited Punjab Central Business District (CBD Punjab) on Wednesday.
He was received by CBD Punjab Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Imran Amin and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Brigadier General (retd) Mansoor Janjua. The CBD CEO gave a comprehensive explanation of the authority's mission, vision, business model and ongoing projects, highlighting the timeline for completion. Babar Alauddin praised the ongoing efforts and emphasized the importance of the CBD NSIT City project. He particularly emphasized on the timely completion of Walton Road as directed by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
CBD Punjab CEO Imran Amin updated Brigadier Babar Alauddin on major projects such as Route 47 and Walton Level Crossing Viaduct and revenue sharing implemented for sustainable development. The model was explained in detail. CBD Punjab's senior management includes Technical Director Riaz Hussain, Marketing Director Waseem Siddiq, Business Development Director Ali Waqar Shah, Project Management Director Asif Iqbal, Architecture and Planning Director Sameer Aftab Sial, HR & IT Director Palwasha Mengal, Finance Director. Mr. Mansoor Saeed also participated in the discussion.
Expressing his thoughts, Brigadier Babar Alauddin praised the effective working model and transformation projects of Punjab CBD and hailed it as being of vital importance for the development of Punjab. He said, “I am impressed by CBD Punjab's proactive approach and commitment to delivering impactful projects.”

Babar Alauddin inspected CBD Route 47, Walton Level Crossing Viaduct and Walton Road, noting the significant improvements underway. He highlighted the role of CBD Punjab in providing relief to residents along Walton Road and addressing the ADA nullah issue. He highlighted that the completion of the Walton Level Crossing Viaduct will significantly enhance traffic management in the area.
