Axsonville, AL (09/25/2024) Jacksonville State University (Jack State) will host a lunch and learn event entitled “Preparing Alabama's Cannabis Workforce” on Tuesday, September 24th, and will feature cannabis industry leaders. , elected officials, educators, and educators came together. Students investigate the development of the state's cannabis workforce. The event was hosted by Jax State University professor Dr. Lori Hensley and students in the university's innovative cannabis research program.
Discussions focused on equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in Alabama's rapidly emerging cannabis industry, as well as the potential benefits of medical cannabis in the treatment of childhood cancer.
