Actress Rachel Sennott shared the unexpected story of her recent arrest in the Cayman Islands for possessing CBD during an Oct. 9 appearance on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon. . The Bottoms star called the experience “embarrassing” and lamented that he wasn't arrested for “cool” things like protesting and shoplifting, US Weekly reported.

Mr Sennott said: “It's actually sad. Of course you want to be arrested for something amazing,” Sennott said, joking that the arrest in the CBD was “a bit pathetic”. She explained that the incident was “entirely (her) fault” as she had not researched international travel laws before arriving at the Cayman Islands airport. She was detained because her CBD product, Mum Grass, is legal in the United States but not in the Cayman Islands.
Upon his arrest, Sennott's mobile phone and passport were confiscated and he was left in the awkward position of being allowed to make only one phone call, but only to someone in the Cayman Islands. “Unfortunately, I haven't made any friends in the Cayman Islands yet,” she joked.
Sennott also said that while she was in custody, Border Patrol agents searched for her presence online, saw a clip from the 2023 comedy “Bottoms,” and immediately thought, “This is not for us.” '', he said.

Sennott's time in prison was short-lived thanks to her assistant Claire, who noticed something was wrong when Sennott stopped responding to text messages and alerted authorities. Because of this incident, the actress may no longer have any photos of her face that can be released. “I asked for it, but they didn't send it to me,” she said, but it was certainly a story she would never forget.
