In response to the alarming statistics that tens of thousands of Australians are experiencing homelessness this winter, Underworks has committed to donating 30,000 essential clothing items in 2024.
The 'I Give A Sock 2024' initiative provides clothing such as socks, underwear and warm clothing to those in need, helping them stay warm even when temperatures dip to their lowest.
Sam Todaro, CEO of Underworks, said: “Cold temperatures can be life-threatening and rough sleepers are particularly at risk of developing serious health problems.” .

Socks are often one of the least donated items, but they're especially important this winter as they play a vital role in preventing blisters, sores and foot infections.
These donations will be distributed through Underworks’ charitable partners including Foodbank Victoria, Thread Together, The Good Box and The Salvation Army.
